I believe that the best products and services are custom – specialized for the unique needs of the individual and/or business. A one-size-fits-all approach might be fine for some, but it’s not going to set you apart – and it’s certainly not going to blow you away. While my job might appear to focus on simply capturing imagery, it’s really about building and fostering relationships. And it starts with communication. It’s about understanding the wants and needs of each client, analyzing ever-changing markets, exploring options and opportunities, and – of course – managing budgets in an environment where the cost of everything is sky-rocketing. who, me?
I love photography, and being a professional photographer is an absolute dream job. I’ve been shooting commercially since 2014, and love the challenge and reward of producing quality, engaging work. My relationships with my clients are my bread and butter, and I enjoy being a part of the stories they tell. While my focus is largely on the built environment, I also relish the opportunity to work with local businesses – showcasing the people and work that make up our vibrant communities.
When I’m not behind the lens, I love to spend time with my family and friends – their support (and tolerance ;p) is boundless, and enables me to pursue my dreams. I love getting out into nature, experiencing the incredible landscape that is our backyard – even if it’s just a quick nature-bath through the forest. And I can’t forget about culture. Experiencing the world – through food, music, theatre, film, books or boots-on-the-ground travel – gives me perspective and introduces me to ideas and influences that not only shape who I am, but what I do. And I love what I do.
I’m based in Langley – serving the Lower Mainland, Island, Interior and beyond.
